Now this is Horse. I smell them on this one Neil!! Thanks Dave!! Woohoo!
I used to have several shows from this tour on tape traded at the time. All had extremely rough sound quality with the exception of Santa Cruz 90 which I bought as bootleg vinyl. I guess the combination of big arenas full of howling idiots going on about 'religious experiences' and such like, together with BIG guitars, were all against the tapers. Still a grest tour which at times (in it's own very different way) can even get close to '73 in intensty terms.
I'm really looking forward to hearing these from better sources and with the benefit of modern digital mastering.
Big thanks as always Dave
OK don't be put off by my comment above - quality here is massively better than my old tapes, less hollering too!!
Interesting that they didn't resort back to the earlier Santa Cruz warmup gig even when available sources for some trax are lesser quality, so that remains a very interesting posting opportunity also!. My copy is the Flashback vinyl, the CD version is more complete i believe
Is this soundboard or audie?
Thanks!
