This remaster was formerly known as "MASTER OF BERLIN". Audio-source: Pre-FM DAT, with the exception of "Throwing It All Away", "Drum Duet" and most of the spoken introductions. Most likely, these bits were omitted to keep the program length below 120 mins. So I had to restore the show with the help of a 2nd gen Cassette tape that David D was kind to lend me. This tape was noticably worse than the DAT and I remember it was not easy to adjust, but as no one has noticed the fact that the remaster was a composite, I think it must have worked ;)
Mastered with Sonic Solutions, restauration of the 2nd gen recordings with Sonic Solutions NoNoise.
Further processing: SPL Spectralizer and SPL Maximizer.

i know i am bit OT but does som boots from the 2007 shows exist? if so have you got it? i have heard about the hollywood bowl show and like to hear it. thanx.
and another OT question. what about the r.wilson era? are there any boots?

well, every night on the tour was almost identical... you can buy the official live LIVE OVER EUROPE... it is a double cd and contains the best performances in Europe (mostly from Manchester) or you can buy the official bootleg from Rome (but it is more expensive)... I would suggest you to buy the dvd WHEN IN ROME: you have the music and the images for almost the same price... and let's forget the ray wilson era... :- )
i do have the offical 2cd. and ok i will buy that dvd. thanx for advice. i've never heared a thing from a wilson era except from the offical cd, so i'd like to hear it. maybe only for once, but i'd like to. for me the best era is probably second half of 70's. i've discovered genesis again and finaly they got me unprepared, because i've never thought i would like it so much.
i've just listened to the rock am ring. i'm a little bit dissapointed. ray just isn't as good as phil or pete. pitty.
