Thanks for the great post! Hearing Kulee Baba in a full studio form changed my world today. You influenced me to offer you this strange jem: Roaring Of The Lamb with Overdubs.
Found it a few years back on eBay, can't find any information about who did the overdubs. Its Walt and Don's old demos with someone's own instruments and some vocals on top. I hope someone finds this interesting...

I am considering remixing and mastering these takes into a complete album while maintaining the SD arrangment (which will be tough to do :-)

Fabulous CD BUT the channels are out of phase, so you need to reverse the phase on one channel to get the great sound. This was true as of Dec 2008 when I downloaded it, it may have been corrected meantime. Well worth the adjustment.

Dave, I tried but can't reverse the phase on one channel. Can you. It increases the SQ 200%.
For those who want to see what I am talking about, take the red and black wires from one channel of your amp and receiver, reverse them, and then play these recordings. Astounding improvement, the grainiess and hiss are replaced by bass and depth.
Dave, I just "inverted" one channel using Audacity (free shareware) and the sound improvement is startling. A 50% improvement in the sound quality, no exaggeration. One channel is out of phase, an by using channel split, then highlighting one channel and using invert, you get a wave file that is CD quality. You are close to Nirvana on this thing, a half hours tweaking and you got a masterpiece. Thanks for the raw material.
