A bit of clarification -- Cowtown ballroom was in Kansas City, Missouri not Kansas. It was an old roller rink that had no Air Conditioning and only large industrial fans.It was located on top of a schoolbook warehouse. Also known to some as the "sweatbox", it was the site of many "Cheap" concerts -- Golding Earing on the "Radar Love" tour for $1.00 and others. Many shows were broadcast on FM from there. It was KC's "Fillmore" during its time.

Also the venue is located in Kansas City, MO, not Kansas.
