Fleetwood Mac: New Orleans 1970 (VG+ Aud) FLAC

not the real cover
1970-01-30 The Warehouse, New Orleans, La.
This is commonly uploaded elsewhere as Jan 29, 1970... after much debate, the prevailing thought is that this is Jan 30, 1970 (after all). I changed the filenames only (I did not alter the eac logs that still show as Jan 29 date, however). Here are the original notes that I got with the download back in 2006.

Note: Fleetwood Mac was part of a triple bill listed as: The Flock, Fleetwood Mac, and The Grateful Dead on 1/30/70, and 1/31/70. The Grateful Dead played a bust fund benefit on 2/1/70 at The Warehouse as well (w/ Peter Green sitting in with them). Bear often taped the opening acts that played with the Grateful Dead, but this show seems to be from the night before the Grateful Dead played, as they are not listed as playing on 2/1/70. I have all three nights of Fleetwood Mac to torrent, and the dates, per Dick Latvala's cassettes are: 1/29-1/31/70. If someone can confirm that Fleetwood Mac did, in fact, play on 2/1/70 with the Grateful Dead, that would make the dates more likely to be 1/30/70-2/1/70. If there is no evidence of Fleetwood Mac playing on 2/1/70, the dates should remain as they were on Dick's cassettes, 1/29/70-1/31/70.

I'm impressed by how much dead hx you know, now how about some more dead music? Would love to see the acoustic/electric sets of the Radio City run., esp the night with the acoustic Aiko. Thanks!

The Beaver Productions Poster for the show says they played on the 30th and 31st. I saw the show on the 31st after the Dead were busted.

Nice to see the legend lives on.

As regards 'Got a Mind' Stockholm is the ultimate version but 31 January is excellent - my remastered version can be upped to MU if QualityBootz agree.
