How many times was this downloaded?
Wow! Thank you! You may have made a joke about this being a request, but I love Tiny Tim. I don't have a lot by him, but it is not for want of searching. He was truly an original oddball. He was probably somewhat mentally ill, but he loved popular music with a true passion, and he loved singing the old songs and keeping them alive. He was also a truly gracious and amazingly honest man.
Many thanks for this!
I have to agree with the Wow comment.
I remember him on Rowan and Martin's Laugh In way back in the day.
When I thought I totally forgot about him he came on The Howard Stern Show and in my opinion was one of the greatest all time guests there.
there might just be something wrong with him, but I wish there were more people with that same problem.
I love it that this posting rang some bells. Music should be fun - if you dig Tiny Tim, dig in! Cheers!
I don't know about that guys. I think Dave should have uploaded this one a few weeks ago because if the Justice League of America knew that people were using Megaupload for this sort of thing - they probably would have left them alone. Even when I was 8 years old ( a while ago!), I knew this boy wasn't right. Um, thanks though... Dave.
Top!
Thank you very much Dave!
HAHAHAHA Dave LOL! Thanks for giving me a laugh this morning!
Thanks for this, it's a nice surprise.
Any chance of posting Tiny Tim @ Santa Monica civic 1968 that's circulating?
I do have the 1976 Tiny's Apartment and I have a request out (now) for Santa Monica.
Give me a few weeks and I will have it up for you.
to answer the first question - 31 as of 11 AM CST
The man was crazy but please more Tiny Tim Dave!!!!!
Dave, this isn't my cup of tea, but I absolutely LOVE the variety of different styles of music that you post here... and every show posted will be of interest to someone, in some cases it will be the "holy grail' that someone has been searching for.. so please keep up the great variety of styles and artists that you post...
I noticed Duchess de Sade appears on the last track.. nice one... saw her band a couple of times in Hollywood, opening for the mighty legendary Haunted Garage - if you ever come across any Haunted Garage shows, please, please PLEASE post them :)
I sit corrected. It was downloaded about 28 more times than I anticipated. As always, thank you for your efforts and the variety.
Make it at least 32 now!
Can't wait to hear this one! And the others, if you can get them.
Thanks, Dave!
LOVE that photo!!!!
