BBC, February 1969
Remastered by PR
The only recordings in existence of the short-time venture of the members of Traffic, January-March 1969, while Steve Winwood was with Blind Faith. The original tapes sounded next to horrible and I worked on them many times in the last decade. The result were much better than anticipated.
1. Waiting On You
2. Crying To Be Heard
3. World In Changes
4. Leaving Blues
5. Waiting On You
Dave Mason - guitar, vocals,
Chris Wood - sax,
Jim Capaldi - drums, vocals,
Wynder K. Frog (Mick Weaver) - organ

Thank you. Sounds very special.
Hi Dave,
Apart from your generosity one of the things that make your site so amazing is that you come up with gems like this that would probably be forgotten.
A kinda recent posting you made was Savoy Brown with Stan Webb - brilliant!!!
Thank you so much.
Another mega rarity.
Thank you very much Dave!
The original (crappy sounding files) have been floating around for a while, but it's like hearing them for the first time! All the news clippings for this brief period refer to the band as Traffic, with Winwood being replaced with Frog. Well, Stevie is irreplaceable, but these are a great part of the band's history. Thanks!
awesome, what a rarity! thanks!!
Thanks so much Dave I never knew this was out there!
I never even knew there was an attempt by Mason to go forward. I always liked his contributions to Traffic as much as Winwood's. Looking forward to hearing this. Thanks.
Great Stuff!
Don't think there were two versions of Waiting On Youfrom this session..!!??
Probably the other is from the other
BBC session. The 2nd session was recorded for Peel's Top Gear.
Many thanks,
Gert
