Totally killer! Thanks!
So...off topic and all, but I hear Megaupload is in a world of hurt today.
Not off topic at all. Its pretty major - not sure how it will all shake down.
I would remove all megaupload links ASAP. They don't work, so why leave them?
Dave may not even be aware of all this, until his next round of files won't upload in the morning. I'm sure we'll hear from him tomorrow what his thoughts are and what his plans are as another alternative to Rapidshare.
Folks, don't be surprised if Dave needs to take a break. Theoretically, the feds could get a list of all people with ML accounts.
US residents, be scared. BE VERY SCARED.
It appears Obama is Bush 3, either that or he owed Chris Dodd a huge favor.
If you read the press, it's made clear that the Feds are not after the subscribers, just the big guys at the top that run the show and make huge amounts of cash. Google it, it makes for some very interesting reading. The guys from Megaupload were taking things a little too far. No wonder they got busted.
RE: Megaupload.
It is NOT ILLEGAL to share AUD recordings or recordings that have not been commercially released. Relax.
As the post above says, they're after company facilitators not subscribers/users.
YES IT`S NOT ILLEGAL TO SHARE BOOTLEGS!!!
KEEP ON ROCKIN´ IN A "FREE WORLD"!!!
