Pink Floyd: New Mown Grass Revisited 1971 (FLAC

That Night in 1971
Well, first: What this Release has to do with a raw master is ah... mh... err..., well at least it once WAS a Raw Master!
Ok, this time for real. To say it in a few words: Man, what a show!!! As buffalofloyd say in his txt "[...] the show is absolutely stellar [...] but CwtAE and FOS steal the show.".
This is really one of the greatest Floyd-Moments ever captured, and this is why I decided to polish it up. Here's the result. This is only for your dining and dancing pleasures, it´s not meant as a substitute or even upgrade to buffalo's release.
And this is where there "Purist Warning" has to be given.
In addition to the lineage of buffalofloyd's original "New Mown Grass" there is:
De-Humming > HF-Synthesizer (Yes, artificial HF content was added!) > Transient Driven EQ > Bass Enhancer > Harmonic Exciter > Slight Noise Reduction > Multiband Compression > Harmonic EQ > Normalizing
This is the CD-A Version (44.1 kHz , 16 bit)
Original Notes:
Pink Floyd
"New Mown Grass"
PinkRoioShn-CDR-008 (PRS-CDR-008)
date/venue: 1971.10.17 Convention Hall, Community Concourse, San Diego, CA
lineage: cass[M] > cass[1] > Hi-Fi > DAT[2] > shn @ 16bit/48khz > TLH > wav > Adobe Audition 1.5 (speed and pitch correction) > cd wav (cutting tracks and flac conversion) > flac @ 16bit/48khz

Disc 1:
01. Careful with that Axe, Eugene [12:59]
02. Fat Old Sun [15:37]
03. Atom Heart Mother [15:52]
04. The Embryo [11:41]

Disc 2:
05. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun [12:48]
06. Cymbaline [11:41]
07. Blues [5:40]

total length: 86:21
notes: What you now have in your possesion is quite possibly the greatest live Pink Floyd performance ever captured. CwtAE and FOS are amongst the best renditions I have ever heard.
The rest of the show is absolutely stellar as well but CwtAE and FOS steal the show.
Gilmour and Rick were exceptional on this night and they're playing on these two tracks is enough to make you shed a tear.
I am pleased to present to you a speed and pitch corrected version of this event in history. Previously this tape was out of pitch and the speed was a bit slow. I have corrected this. And now for the disclaimer... I do all my speed and pitch adjustment by ear only and not with the use of comparing against other shows or individual tracks or any crazy tools. I do not guarantee the speed or pitch to be completely accurate, this is basically my interpretation of the way I have always wanted this show to sound. No remastering was applied to this at all (as if it needs any).

Good LORD! This is an absolutely stellar concert.....truly a must-have. Easily in my top five. Thank you thank you for this post Dave. I had forgotten just how blistering the Floyd could be in the early days.

P.S. If you get a chance, I'd love it if you could repost Dolls House Darkness. Your original post never worked, and I'm hankerin' for those early Syd recordings. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

I came to download with some fear because I found the original roio very dissapointing, considering it was rated "EX+", but I'm happy to be proven false. The remaster is awesome. Thanks very much!!
