Analog Cable FM > Sony STR-DA5300ES > Audio Out > Monster Interlink 100 Minijack Cable > Sony PCM-D50 (44.1kHz/16Bit, Limiter off, Low Cut Filter off, SBM off) > Copy Wave File to PC via USB Connection > Edit with Adobe Audition 3 (Normalize to 96%, Fade-In and Fade-Out, Split) > FLAC 8 with TLH > Tag with Tagscanner
Notes: The host was pretty annoying, she talked between every 2 songs or played a jingle in one case (after History). Velvet Morning was played twice in a row. And Love Is Noise cuts out. I edited all the talking out. I did as good as I can, but it's a bit of a mess.

Venue: Memorial Auditorium
Quality: Excellent Soundboard
No Of Cds: 2
Comments: Remastered from a 1st gen>DAT transfer, there are rumours that the first gen tape comes right off Jimmy Page's cassettes. Underrated intense performance with one of the best SIBLY from the US tour. John Paul Jones played with two fractured ribs. The transfer has some very light problems in TSRTS and a small cut in TRS.

Freezer's comments:
"In each case, the same source was used for bootlegs, BUT these are lower generation copies than what the bootleggers previously used...also, these versions have NO heavy handed equalization as the previous bootlegs have, to the detriment of the music....I'm sure they'll be scarfed up for yet another bootleg release within a few weeks of being shared....."
Well, folks, these are the latest transfers made by Mister FREEZER himself. This recording is NOT his, but "source B" aka "Morganfield".
I didn't change anything in the way these CDs were given to me by Mr FREEZER. The mastering and track splitting was done by him.

Chicago: Lucca Summer Festival 2008 (FM Source) FLAC

CHI52999
Saturday 26th July 2008, 21:35 hours
Piazza Napoleone, Lucca (Tuscany, Italy)

Robert Lamm - keyboards and Vocals
Lee Loughnane - trumpet and Vocals
Bill Champin - keyboards, vocals and Guitar
Keith Howland - guitar and vocals
Nick Lane - trombone
Jason Sheff - bass and Vocals
Tris Imboden - drums and Harmonica
Ray Herman - saxophones

WARNINGS: 1- as in italian radio customs, the DJ speaks a lot in-between songs. His purpose is to translate in italian what the musicians say, the introductions to every song and the history of the band. It may gets VERY annoying, thus we might consider this recording only for completists. But the songs, the actual music, are usaully not spoken over. Or you could think that it's so damn exotic having someone speaking in an unknown language in your boot!
2- the concert faded out to give space to night-time radio news. I don't know if other tracks have been played.
Live FM radio broadcast by "I Concerti di Radio1", Radio Uno RAI [first channel of italian national radio], from an open air show. Piazza Napoleone is one of Lucca main city squares. Trackmarking the "Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon" suite (tracks 04-10) was a real nightmare, it took me more than an hour. And more than a month to be able to seed it.

Pink Floyd: All Is Forgiven (New 6 Source Mix of Montreal 1977) FLAC

Pinrgiveside
1977 07-06 (Stereo Version) 6 Source Mix
Brand new mix, never heard before August 22, 2008
Yes, this is the "Spitting Incident" where Roger spits on a fan after calling him to the stage in a "demonic" voice
Yes, the spitting incident (allegedly) propelled the group to write "The Wall" to isolate the band from the fans.
Yes, there are 6 sources synchronized. 3 from "Recorder 1" and 3 from "Recorder 2"
Yes, The Last Animalized is most definitely, 100% sure, no doubt about it, Recorder 1
No, there was not any noise reduction or any EQing done
Audio Used:
Recorder 1
The Last Animalized (YEESHKUL, flac)
Azimuth Coordinator (DIME, shn)
Fire Works Show In The Canadian Walls (YEESHKUL, flac)

Recorder 2
Who Was Trained Not To Spit On The Fan (YEESHKUL, flac)
Montreal 1977 (DIME, flac)
Roar Ends (DIME, flac)

Lineage: Download 6 versions in either .shn or .flac > Goldwave (Make each version a single .wav file) > Adobe Audition synchronize (time expand, time compress, and/or split and move), then mixdown all 6 files to one file > Goldwave (split files with .cue sheet) > DBPowerAmp convert to .flac (level 8) > You
By calling this the "Stereo Version", it means there is a "DTS" version available. This version never went thru any steps to make it lossy.
None of the 6 versions were the same speed as each other. They all fluctuated and had an ever-changing speed rhythm of their own, which did not stay the least bit constant throughout the files. I chose the "Harvested" version as the correct speed version, so the other 5 had to match the speed of "Who Was Trained Not To Spit On The Fan". The other 5 versions would individually speed up for a minute, slow down for 8, speed up for 3, slow down for 45 seconds and so on, making it almost impossible to synchronize. In some areas, the files were off by 6 or 7 percent, more than a full second in 20 seconds. They all had either some missing parts or some additional parts making each version either longer or shorter that the others, a whole different problem than just speed correction. Finding those parts was an adventure, it added to the level of difficulty for sure. What looked like might take a time compression of 8 seconds in 5 minutes, really needed 10 seconds cut out to match the others and then a 2 second time expansion.
For every minute of the show, each version took me approximately 15 minutes to synchronize. 6 versions times 15 minutes = 1 1/2 hours, times 146 minutes for the concert = about 220 hours to complete. If I had known it would take that long I never would have done it, but after I started I couldn't stop.

This release clears up a lot of speculation about the Beatles’ Star Club tapes, thanks to an unedited and unprocessed source tape (for which we cannot thank DarthDisc and the Darthelves enough). Although the recording dates are still guesses, we now know the correct order for about 2/3 of the songs. Even so, the second half of disc one is sequenced based more on smooth transitions than solid setlist information.
We tried to make sure every Star Club sound was accounted for, but not repeated: auditioning many “Live At The Star Club” CDs and LPS on a number of labels. Even so, we used Darthdisc’s unprocessed tape wherever possible. As well as offering upgrades and previously unheard chat “Red Hot,” though still incomplete, is twice as long as before. “Red Sails…” now has an extra verse compared with the released version, while “I Saw Her Standing There” on disc two has an extra guitar solo. Conversely, we removed looped portions of “I’m Gonna Sit Right Down…”, “Twist And Shout” and “I Remember You.”
It’s by no means perfect, but it’s the best we have at the moment. And it’s the first time we’ve listened to the Star Club tapes in years. Hopefully you’ll gain a new appreciation for these historic recordings as well.
All tracks mono, at the correct speed, and eq’d for the most coherent listening experience. Enjoy!
As always, Purple Chick discs are fan created and NEVER FOR SALE.
Here's why the original updates:
The full third version of "A Taste Of Honey" magically appeared, just after Star Club came out. It turns out that some dialogue that we placed on disc one belongs just before it. So we cut it out of disc one, put it at the end of "Hippy Hippy Shake" and did a minor tweak to "Money" just for the sake of continuity. A change of the info file and inside artwork to reflect this, and we're all done.
Finally, the inside art was changed again to correct a track numbering error.

The Rolling Stones: Necrophilia (Unreleased 1972 Album)

even if you are a modest Stones fan you'll want this one.
front
Vinyl Gang Product (VGP 317)
Quality: Excellent-Perfect
Alternate versions from 1964 to 1967
Linage: Original GOLD CD>EAC uncompressed copy>TLH FLAC Level 8 Decode>TLH testing - no errors found.
This is the never-released album from 1971 (or was it 1972), which was pressed on a few acetates. Some acetates were sold, for a lot of money, a couple of years ago, and....surfaced on bootleg CD after a while. The songs are either completely different takes (like "Have You Seen Your Mother Baby"), or different mixes than the official versions (from Metamophosis)
Pay Your Dues and the speeded-up Blue Turns To Gray are fantastic, IMO As Metomophosis, several of the songs features Jagger, Richards and studio musicians, and not the other Stones members.
Artwork included
This is a high quality vinyl transfer made using the original London/ABCKO unreleased vinyl source and then digitally remastered.
The planned follow-up to Hot Rocks was to be titled Necrophilia, and was to have the tracks selected by the unpredictable Andrew Loog Oldham. A gatefold sleeve was designed by Fabio Nicoli using photography by the Stones' official photographer from the sixties, Gered Mankowitz.
Only an extremly limited number had been produced when, rumour has it, Oldham and Allen Klein had a major disagreement over Oldham's eclectric track selection, which included controversial songs such as "Andrews Blues" and "Pay Your Dues" (the alternate version of Street Fighting Man).
What you hear here is a vinyl transfer to CD of the actual unreleased album.

This album was recorded at the height of the group's split and subsequent court battles to decide "Which one's Pink?"
Radio K.A.O.S (tour) by Roger Waters
Dates 14 August 1987 - 22 November 1987
Legs 3 (4 were planned)
Shows 37
The Radio K.A.O.S tour was a concert tour performed by Roger Waters in 1987 in support of the album, Radio K.A.O.S. The shows included material from the album as well as songs from well known Pink Floyd albums such as The Wall and The Dark Side of the Moon. The tour started in North America on 14 August 1987 and ended on the 22 November 1987 with two performances at Wembley Arena in London, England.
The show included designs by Mark Fisher such as circular screens, quadrophonic sounds, back projections and in some cases introductions to the show by Radio DJ Jim Ladd. A telephone booth allowed the audience to direct questions at Waters.

The Performers
Unlike The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking tour in 1984, the K.A.O.S tour established The Bleeding Hearts band, a backing band which would continue to play or be involved with Roger Waters over the next 20 years. Both Doreen Chanter and Katie Kissoon had performed on the 1984 tour.

Andy Fairweather-Low - Guitar, bass guitar and backing vocals.
Jay Stapley - Lead guitar and backing vocals.
Paul Carrack - Keyboards and vocals.

Bootleg Title: First Generation
Source: AUD[1] -> CDR[?] -> SHN -> TLH -> FLAC (level 8)
Quality: VG+/EX-
Length: 123 mins 32 secs
Comments: First night of the American leg of the 77 In The Flesh tour. This recording comes from a first generation tape. Roger shouts '30' at 12:55 after the third verse of 'Pigs (Three Different Ones)'. 'Us and Them' fades out midway through the song. Very nice audience recording.

I've posted a June and July concert from this tour, now here's an August offering:

Recorded By: Robert Mullen

Equipment/Lineage: Audience/SP-BMC-12 mic’s (Croakies)>SP-SPSB-1 (Battery Boost Box w/ Bass Roll-Off at 95Hz)>Sony MZ-RH10 HI-MD (PCM) (tracking done on the fly)>Hi-MD[M]>Sonic Stage 3.0>wav>TLH flac level 8.
Tracks 11.1-11.2 and 13 transfered to CD Wave>THL flac level 8.
Comments: We had never been to this venue before and it was excellent. A great place for a concert. We sat 1st row of sec. 303 (dead center, balcony...total sweet spot. Recording sound came out well and the crowd was well behaved. I had to deal with some recording issues...C'est la vie!
