Well, holy crap! I listened to this VERY late last night. I could not sleep and headed over to QB to see what the fresh soup of the day was. Thanks for digging this thing out and posting it.

They had a couple of singles out at this point but were still unsigned and unknown. They must have come down from Canada and were playing small clubs. It is so cool to hear these guys play in a small club (and this show really sounds small). Many bands from this MTV hit maker generation played this club. One being Men At Work.

So this show is very raw and sees the band in an unpolished form. What a treat.

Thank you.

@ dave: as always, thanks for your time, devotion, eclectic taste and sharing with such diversity

@ anonymous: thanks for reminding us that some people are simply juvenile. you must be content in knowing that you contribute to lowering the s/n ratio of life...

So no dissent or alternate opinions here. ?? No negative feedback wanted?
Flock of Smegma were horrible and could barely play their own instruments. I stand by this.
It's rare for Dave to post crap like this on his otherwise fine blog. That's what I fully meant to say. So flame me. Pointing out crap as crap has nothing to do with being juvenile.
Must really suck to be a Flock of Smegma fanboi

btw.. I did not coin the name "Flock of Smegma".
That accolade goes to some DJs at the world famous KROQ in Los Angeles back in the 80s.
For many years that is how they were introduced on air, and the name most people on the west coast referred to them as.
Sorry if it offends you.
I thought many people knew this nickname.
