Hannover, Germany Funkhaus Studio 1
1974-04-17
NDR Jazz Workshop, FM transmission
Keith Jarrett: piano
Jan Garbarek: sax
Palle Danielson: bass
Jon Christensen: drums
At the beginning on CD1, track 1 the radio announcer speaks about 2 special recordings ("2 besondere Aufnahmen"), but here is only 1 recording (April 17th 1974). Maybe the 2nd show is transmitted later, directly after this. Track listing is "as the radio announcer told us". In the www I found also April 18th as the date for this concert, but you will hear the announcer speaking "17th April".
Got it as CD-R in a trade years ago> EAC->Traders Little Helper: Flac level 6

rapidshare rar says part 7 is missing...
part 7 now included - sorry about that!
grabbed this one a week ago and been really enjoying it, I love Jarrett and Garbarek.
the tracklist as given by the announcer is a mile off, though; wonder if he got it from a planned setlist that they didn't stick to, or if that was the setlist for an earlier/later show?
anyway, the best I can do so far, from scouring the web and comparing these pieces to the Belonging & My Song LPs (grateful for any help from others in the know!) is as follows:
Disc 1
1. Belonging > Spiral Dance > Blossom
2. The Windup
3. Mandala
Disc 2
1. Mandala (is it just me, or is a slightly longer version of Disc 1 tk 3? sounds exactly the same)
2. 'Long As You're Living Yours.
minor quibble of course, when you're listening to nearly 2hrs of great musicians firing on all cylinders and in superb sound quality.
thanks Qualitybootz!
