Thank you! Good photo you put up with this, too. I was there during Geldof's moment of true glory. I was maybe 40 feet from the stage, in the center, at Live Aid at Wembley Stadium in London. I stayed there all day for fear of losing my place. I had a little water with me and a little food (today I don't think they would let you bring that stuff in, but back then they did), and I made it through. Saw so many great bands that day that I have never seen any other time. He really seemed like a hero that day, in my 19th summer. He was on top of the world, with almost literally the whole world watching, and it felt incredible to be there with him and the rest.
So I'm a Geldof loyalist. Look forward to checking this out.
