Soundboard Recording
Notes: Digitally remastered using a custom built, Dual-DAW, nicknamed Bertha. Completed july 30, 2005.
The original source is from a monitor mix with a very narrow stereo channel. The narrow stereo effect is common to monitor or house mixes. The original source has audio level compression applied, as well as noise reduction. Both were done well and did not result in any noticeable artifacts.

This remaster is a little over processed. The original Dragon Snake proves once again that the mighty Zeppelin were at there peak during the '77 tour. Do yourself a favor and D.L. the original.
Although I haven't listened to this one yet, another bertha recording is the Dec 79 JGB show posted a little earlier this month. The sound on that recording is outstanding.
Sounds good, definite improvement over my previous copy.
I would hardly say the band was at their peak on the '77 tour - I'd say that happened at least 4 years earlier (on the Spring '73 European tour).
Nonetheless I have to hear this.

Thanks! I have the 4-Eyed Freak remaster as well as the 13remaster. Both are a bit too compressed. The guys at Bertha usually have a nice warm sound, so I look forward to this.
