There have been many releases coming out of the east documenting tapes from Pink Floyd's In The Flesh tour, this being the fourth release in the past month (Pigs Fly Over America, Welcome To The Machine and Racial Violence being the other three). It is indeed a classic tour and the last time that the band truly toured the United States and Have A Cigar represents the final Boston concert with Roger Waters in the band. This is a superb sounding stereo audience recording made by the same one who made the second tape source of the 1975 show at the same venue.
Previous releases of this show include The Perfect Day on Ayanami, but this comes from the complete and unprocessed master that has recently been circulating. It is better sounding and longer than any other and is the definitive version of a spectacular show that is definitely worth having. This is Pink Floyd after touring for several months, so they are extremely tight, but before their frustrations began to surface in the New York concerts the following week. Waters shouts out "48" during "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" and comments at the end "The perfect end to a perfect day".

Thanks as always for another awesome post Real2.0....you have the best blog I've ever seen man!Is there any chance you'll be be putting up the '75 Boston Garden show sourced from recorder 2(the better one)?..I only have it in MP3 and would love it in lossless!!!Well thanks again for your absolutely sterling work!
Hi 2.0,
What can I say! Another great post.... you know I believe this to be the 2nd best recording of the 1977 PF tour so it's an absolute must for PF fans.
I think the top 3 1977 shows are ....
1) Oakland May 9th 1977 ("Animal Instincts REV B")
2) Boston June 27th 1977 ("Have a Cogar")
3) New York July 2nd 1977 ("In The Grssland Away").
Therefore with this post you have completed the top 3 in my opinion though I also think that "Iron Pigs on Fire" is also very close in terms of quality and you have posted this one too! (NB if you get a chance in time, it's worth posting the original version of this show and not the REV as the REV is not deemed to be as good, which is quite strange but in this case true).
Cheers again for all your work and for keeping us fans of good live music happy,
JJ__
Is anybody else having trouble with this show? A few of the files (SOYCD 1-5 and Dogs) are corrupt. They either cut out like they contain no information, or they make my MP3 player crash. I've tried a couple different player too, and same result. Am I the only one?
there is a much better sounding version of this on floydpodcast.com

Is this better sounding than CURSE OF THE PIG ?
By the way, the version you can hear on Brain Damage/Floyd Podcast is streaming only, I guess...
Thanks.
If anyone is interested... I compared the two versions of SHEEP and they are clearly fron the same source, just a different EQ.... here you have much more trebble but the audience is louder... On Curse Of The PIg audience is quieter but the sound is more compressed... Basically it's a question of personal taste...
?? I must be getting Alzheimers - What's up w Waters yelling out numbers at some of these In The Flesh shows?
