Said to be the worst performance of the (cut short) tour of 1977. I think of Led Zeppelin music like I do of pizza or sex - even if it's bad it's still pretty good :)

Could I know why is this date said to be the worst?
is it because of plant's broken voice or because the three other members messed up something?
You know, a lot of people in france consider the 1979 Knebworth festival played by zep to be not good at all...
I think it's the best show they simply ever played!!!!!

regarding the worst - yes, Plant's voice was shaky but the band was slow to get into sync. He says in the bootleg something like, "I'm sorry but we've only been awake for about an hour."

Tempe is worse. Jimmy probably was sniffin the Devils Dandruff, or was on heroin. Whichever, Bonzo aparentally dissaproved.

Both shows in Oakland are completely underrated, this is an exceptional performance. Jimmy totally screws up Ten Years Gone, but other than that, this is a strong showing. Plus, a rare Black Dog encore is played,only being played twice in 1977 that we know of.
