OU Comments: One of those rare hot summer nights for the Pink Floyd. Echoes is jazzy, even funky a bit at the beginning too. Dave laughs but doesn't screw up.
Performance wise this is easily in the top 3 for 1975, and soundwise it's up there with Boston and the rest (maybe not quite L.A.). So this might just be your best bet for a good 75 show. Dark Side is well performed too. A beauty from 1975

If this is the recorder (and version) I'm thinking of, it is a very clear recording that was left alone. There is a lot of room for some EQ adjustment without clipping (if memory serves, there is big hump in the mids). If you are patient, this one can easily be taken into EX+ territory. I'm hoping that PPR or Godfather get there hands on this one some day and give it a little love.
Fantastic, loose, jazzy show from 75. You can tell they were having a great time.
Thanks Dave!!!
Godfather released this as Wishes, Echoes and Desires and it sounds great- haven't listened to this one yet to compare.
Can't wait to get home this afternoon to grab this one, as well as the rest of this Friday's Floyd sets. So thanks, Dave.
I have a question for everyone, though. What is/are the rarest Pink Floyd bootlegs? Are there any like that these days?
@robbydjr: The rarest PF boot to my knowledge is the vinyl 12 inch "What Have You Done To Him". According to the book "Pink Floyd -The Records" by Andreas Kraska the tapes were handed over to an official record pressing company in Hamburg, but just before their delivery the records were identified as illegal products and destroyed. Just one copy with cover and a maximum of two copies without cover are said to exist.

Thomas
robbydjr: I would check out hokafloyd- it appears that the limited releases are primarily from Sirene and Sigma. I have found a connection that has found any title I want most paid approx $30.00 a cd and I have obtained most of the Sirene and Sigma Cds- they are avail. I also have some lps but my knowledge and collection is more w cd's.
Thanks for the great info so far. Muchly appreciated.
I noticed on hokafloyd, there's CD artwork for "What Have You Done To Him." Is that the same as the 12-inch vinyl boot? If so, could you find that one in FLAC, Dave?
@robbydjr: I checked it out for you. The CD "What Have You Done To Him" on hokafloyd.com is obviously a recording from the Floyds concert at Ludwigshafen, Germany, 1970 November 25. The vinyl 12 inch in Andreas Kraskas book is from Floyds BBC recordings at Paris Theatre in London, 1971 October 12. It contains on side A the songs Fat Old Sun and One Of These Days, on side B Echoes. Interesting detail: The picture on the front cover of the CD is the same as the back cover of the vinyl. Personally I haven't heard of a CD rip of this vinyl so far, though the BBC recordings are widely available on a range of other CDs.

Thomas
Thank you very much!
After reading your first post, I had a feeling they were different, even though they had the same title. But I wanted to make sure. So thanks for pointing that out. Very interesting the CD used the same artwork too.
I had a lp rip for war in the head? that was bad and I've never seen that one anywhere else
I bought a 90 min tape of the paris theatre show way back in the early eighties, before cd rips it must have come from an lp recording or was recorded srtaight from the john peel radio show. This is how we use to buy and listen to bootlegs.
